The hot tub outside was amazing after long days! 🛁 The room was cozy and clean. Only downside was the beds felt a bit worn out.

I wasn’t ready for this!
Staying here felt like a home away from home with cozy furniture and delightful common areas. The night sky was stunning, perfect for aurora viewing. The continental breakfast included local goodies, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. Truly a gem just 20 minutes from the stunning Lake Mývatn!

We loved the hot tub outside, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
While the guesthouse is cozy, the lack of a shared kitchen was disappointing. The buffet offered was quite costly for budget travelers like us, and it would have been nice to have access to some basic kitchen facilities, like a toaster or a kettle in our room. Additionally, we found the beds to be a bit worn out in the room we stayed in, which affected our overall comfort.

The Standard Twin Room was a delightful surprise with its spacious layout and charming decor. The hot tub outside was perfect for unwinding under the brilliant night sky while watching the aurora. I truly enjoyed the continental breakfast, which was rich in local treats and set the tone for amazing days of exploration.

Staying at this guesthouse felt entirely welcoming! Our family loved the spacious room, which accommodated us comfortably, and the beautiful hot tub outside was perfect after our adventures, like whale watching in Husavik. It was truly a memorable experience with my elderly parents.
My wife says that a hot meal option for breakfast would be great.

The Standard Twin Room was spacious and super clean! The big windows let in great natural light. However, the beds felt a bit worn out, which affected comfort a little. The hot tub outside was a sweet perk for unwinding after long days. Wish they had a shared kitchen though – would’ve made meal prep easier for us. Overall, a cozy vibe that felt homey.
